Sugar Implemtatoin and customization – Shipping company

Client: NetworkFOB (www.networkfob.com)


Client is a cross-country network of independent freight agents for shipping. We Customized client’s SugarCRM. The following functionalities were provided in the module custom tailored to their business need:

  1. Replicated the modules as per the production server SugarCRM on the new SugarCRM.
  2. Created some custom modules as per the need.
  3. Write logic hooks for custom module.
  4. Generated graphs for the accounts specific type(customer) which will link to other SugarCRM on clicking the account graph is done by plx files for authenticating to the other SugarCRM.



Sugar Implementation and custom moduel development- Insurance company

  1. This project was designed for an Insurance company.
  2. The main aim was to handle each stage as a lead is converted to an opportunity and then finally to a customer.
  3. There are overall 5 major roles in this project Administrators, Managers, Sales Agents, Verifiers and Normal Users.
  4. Administrators have admin rights. Each Manager has his own team comprising of himself/herself and a few Sales Agents, Verifiers and Normal Users.
  5. A lead is created by Normal User then is converted into opportunity and opportunity is passed on to verifier for verification for further processing.
  6. The verifier can verify this opportunity and send it for further processing to sales agent or can reject this opportunity or can send it back for modification to the user who has passed him/her the lead.
  7. If a verifier accepts an opportunity, a meeting is scheduled and a SMS is sent to the Sales Agent regarding this meeting. Sales Agent then meets the customer and gives decision on behalf of customer. If Sales Agent accepts then opportunity is passed on to Manager for further processing. If rejected opportunity is marked Customer Rejected.
  8. If a Manager accepts an opportunity, it is marked as Disbursed and an opportunity is converted to a customer. Otherwise Manager can reject an opportunity or can send it back for modification to sales agent or he can mark it as work in progress (WIP).
  9. The above was a general flow of a lead conversion to opportunity and finally to customer.
  10. We have 48 dashlets to represents reports which shows daily, weekly and monthly statistics.
  11. We have used security suite to make teams so that particular team can view only their records.
  12. We have also implemented cross sell i.e. assigning an opportunity to another team.
  13. We have implemented SMS-API so that a SMS is sent to a sales agent when a meeting is scheduled and an opportunity is assigned to him.
  14. We have also configured to send an email on completion of specific stages.
  15. We have also implemented JavaScript at many stages to validate data and display fields accordingly.
  16. We have also implemented to delete a call completely when a relationship call’s relationship with opportunity is removed.
  17. Overall we have used Security Suite, JavaScript, SMS-API, Mail , obviously php and main sugar framework.

Custom campaign module development – Gaming company


Client: Ubisoft, Germany (www.ubi.com)

  1. Customized client’s SugarCRM. The following functionalities were provided in the module, which we custom tailored to their business need:
  2. Create a product and tracker modules and pre-request of product from agents.
  3. Export contacts into target list by searching/selecting (And & OR& wildcard) from Contact list(s) and also made custom export functionality for contacts.
  4. Add a TCPDF Export button in detail view of campaign and print the address of all contacts those are in campaign with help of TCPDF(to generate PDF)
  5. Export all accounts with no connected contacts.
  6. Add a sub panel of custom module in campaign module. It has one too many relations.
  7. Custom layout of Edit and detail view in Contacts module.
  8. Changes the layout of contact module which a six columns per row.
  9. Work on logic hooks (before_save, after_retrieve, process_record etc.)
  10. Added fields like email, which accepts multiple entries.
  11. Export active address (select dynamically in Primary address and Company address)
  12. Change sub panel list view layout display.
  13. Create checkbox in advance search area.
  14. Configure email to SugarCRM.
